Lauren and James have the biggest hearts. I could say that about a lot of people I work with, but this couple are special. I first met James when I shot an old friends wedding in the Midlands and he was filming, we stayed in touch, shot a few more weddings together and was so honoured they chose me to shoot their own wedding! The energy surrounding them both on their day at the stunning Captains Wood Barn really was electric.

Both are incredibly talented film makers, mostly shooting weddings but lots of other creative cinematography too, these guys invited me in to something awesome. All the little details like James’ brothers home made beers, the very British afternoon tea served on beautiful crockery, the insanely beautiful and quite moving outdoor ceremony under the trees, the Anna Campbell dress Lauren was rocking.. everything blew me away.

I hope my photographs have gone some way to capturing the love, excitement and happiness on that wonderful day in that gorgeous wood in Essex. Lauren and James, you are beautiful people and I wish you so much love for your future together. Cheers to you, friends!
